Family Law:
The relationships involved in family law are spouses, married or unmarried parents and their children. As well as, occasionally, other family members like grandparents. Concern is with the rights and duties in those relationships regarding divorce, property division between spouses, child and spousal support, as well as child custody. Family law may also relate to contempt of court and domestic violence. Additionally, family law may include dependency cases. Those are cases whereby the government removes children from their homes, typically, based upon the allegation that the children need protection from their parents.
I have extensive experience in family law. I have had
scores, if not hundreds, of trials and contested hearings. Some of which
have been quite complex involving marital multi-million dollar marital
estates. Also, complex custody matters such as interstate custody matters.
In addition to custody matters with allegations involving sexual molestation
and abuse. Moreover, I have litigated complex child support matters
even to the extent representing clients in the Court of Appeal. Also,
I have a been a continuing education lecturer on the topic of Non-Custodial Parents
Rights. The Superior Court has also appointed me as a Special Master to
resolve disputes in family law matters.
